The MISSION SOCIETY raises money to help our mother church in Eastern Europe where our church and beloved traditions originated. The current circumstances are extremely heartbreaking. The devastating eruption of war in Ukraine is driving millions from their homes and now, the consequences of the conflict are radiating outwards, triggering a wave of hunger in the immediate region and around the world.
More than 6 million people have now fled the violence in Ukraine. A child from Ukraine has become a refugee almost every single second of the war. Children on the move are at risk of hunger, illness, trafficking and abuse.
